Eligibility

1. Educational Qualification :Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

2. Minimum Marks,

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required for the General category. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum requirement is 47.5%.

3. Entrance Examination

Admission is through the **NEET-UG** examination, as per the guidelines of the Veterinary Council of India and Assam Agricultural University.

4. Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The upper age limit is generally 25 years for the General category, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

State Quota Seats (85%): Filled through counselling conducted by AAU for candidates belonging to Assam and the North Eastern region as per eligibility norms.

 All India Quota Seats (15%) Filled through VCI’s centralized counselling based on NEET-UG rank.

4. Seat Allotment

Seats are allotted according to merit, reservation policy, and candidate preferences during counselling.

5.Document Verification & Admission**

Shortlisted candidates must report to the college with required documents (NEET scorecard, 10+2 marksheet, domicile/reservation certificates, etc.) for verification. Admission is confirmed after payment of fees and completion of formalities.
