Veterinary Science Course Curriculum
The Veterinary curriculum combines Theory and Practical training, including a 1-year compulsory
rotational Internship. Students study care and treatment of both small animals (like Dogs and Cats)
and large animals (like Horses and Crocodiles). The syllabus varies by university but focuses on
building strong academic knowledge and practical skills to meet industry demands.
Though course structures differ, core learning remains consistent to prepare students for diverse
veterinary careers. Veterinary Science focuses on Animal Care, Medicine, and Research. Students gain
skills in diagnosing and treating animals, with career opportunities in animal welfare, research,
and academia.
