Shekhawati Veterinary College is approved by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and operates under the guidelines of the Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education regulations. It is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, ensuring that the academic curriculum, examinations, and degrees are in accordance with university and national standards. The institution is also recognized as a private college by relevant academic authorities.
Academically, the college currently offers the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) program. This is a full-time, five-and-a-half-year course that includes a one-year compulsory internship. The total annual intake capacity for this program is 80 students. Out of these, 40 seats are filled under the state quota through counselling based on NEET scores, while the remaining 40 are filled under the management quota, also requiring NEET qualification.
