Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (PGIVER), Jaipur, Rajasthan, was established in the year 2010. It functions under the management of Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner. The institute was created with the objective of promoting excellence in postgraduate veterinary education, conducting advanced research, and contributing to the development of animal husbandry and livestock healthcare in the state and beyond.
PGIVER is located in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. The campus is spread over approximately 200 acres and forms part of the larger College of Veterinary and Animal Science complex. It is situated about 12 kilometres from Jaipur Junction railway station and around 10 kilometres from Jaipur International Airport, making it accessible by road, rail, and air.
PGIVER is approved by the Veterinary Council of India and recognized by the Government of Rajasthan. It is academically affiliated with Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner.
PGIVER offers B.V.Sc and M.V.Sc courses apart from Ph.D Research. Seat capacity per annum is 35 and 31 respectively for B.V.Sc & AH / M.V.Sc.
